Pane treats every surface as a translucent pane of glass. Information is layered spatially — foreground content floats on frosted panels over a deep colored void. Thin luminous borders catch light at panel edges, creating the impression of physical glass sheets stacked in depth.

Three glass intensities — deep, standard, and bright — establish a clear hierarchy. Background color shapes (soft blurred blobs of blue and lavender) bleed through the frosted surfaces, giving each panel a subtly different tint depending on its position. Nothing is opaque; everything breathes.
