Terms of Use

The fine print. No gradients here either.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, or using any No Purple Gradients ("NPG") product, you agree to these Terms of Use in full. If you don't agree, don't purchase. Simple as that.

Continued use of the product after changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. The Product

No Purple Gradients is a library of 96 design system specifications delivered as Claude Code skill files (.md). These files instruct AI coding tools to generate HTML design system specimens and production-ready pages.

NPG is not a template library. It is not a component kit. It is a set of curated design specifications that give AI tools the taste they inherently lack.

3. What You Can Do

  • Use the skill files with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) to generate design system specimens and production pages
  • Use generated output in unlimited commercial and non-commercial projects
  • Modify, adapt, and extend any generated output
  • Use generated output for client work without additional licensing
  • Reference the design specifications in your own development workflow

4. What You Cannot Do

  • Redistribute, share, or resell the .md skill files in any form
  • Include the skill files in products, templates, or asset libraries offered for sale
  • Share download links, account credentials, or access tokens with others
  • Sub-license the skill files to third parties
  • Use the skill files as training data for AI or machine learning models
  • Claim authorship of the design system specifications themselves

If you're unsure whether your use case is permitted, ask. We'd rather clarify than litigate.

5. Account & Access

Each license is granted to one individual. One person, one license. Team and agency licenses are available for organizations that need multiple seats.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Don't share them. We'll know.

6. Generated Output

You own the output. Everything Claude or any other AI tool generates using these skill files belongs to you. We claim no rights to your generated work, your projects, or your client deliverables.

The skill files are the instrument. What you build with them is yours.

7. Intellectual Property

The .md skill files remain the exclusive property of No Purple Gradients. The design system specifications, system names, organizational structure, and curatorial framework are proprietary.

Purchasing a license grants you the right to use these files, not to own them. Think of it like buying a record: you own the vinyl, not the master.

8. Updates & Changes

Annual subscribers receive all updates during their active subscription period. Lifetime license holders receive updates indefinitely.

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your license if you violate these terms. Redistribution of skill files is grounds for immediate termination without refund.

Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the skill files. Output generated before termination remains yours and can continue to be used without restriction.

10. Limitation of Liability

No Purple Gradients is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that AI-generated output will meet your specific requirements, be error-free, or achieve any particular result.

In no event shall NPG be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the product.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product.
